I loaded up a number of rounds the other day to just test out different amounts of powder and while testing I filled up a 5gal bucket with water to see how these did as to expansion?
As I only had one bucket I could only shoot one round and it went right through the bucket (not surprised) but, left all of the jacketing in the bucket? The lead went on into the board behind the bucket and was not all that deformed. This would do some real damage on soft tissue but I would have thought there would have been more "Mushrooming" of the bullet? Maybe this load was not moving at high enough speeds?
