When to a Gun show yesterday!

Postby Xfire68 » Sun Jul 11, 2010 9:21 am

I had a pretty good time at a Gun show in Crown Point IN yesterday. They had many vendors there but, I have to say for the most part the prices on many of the items and especially ammo were higher then any store I have ever been to! There were a few deals to be had like my brother bought 600 .223 brass mostly Lake City Military for $20! No bad!

They had a vendor that had those "Crazy" shot shells. Some had pepper in them? Some have fishing lead weights? Some had those beanbags for nonlethal shots. Some shot flames out of your gun? Some exploded!

All in all it was a pretty good day even though I did not buy anything at the Gun Show I did get to go out with my GF ridding motorcycles and stopped at Cabelas to window shop as well! 8-)

Tell your brother to be careful. You never know how many times that brass has been loaded.

Thanks Jake I thought of that after I got it home. My brother does not reload so I do it for him. I did find that some cases had loose primer pockets but, the necks and bodies all looked it good to great condition.

I shoot with him as well so I will keep an eye on these loads. He also bought some once fired Mil surplus brass online so he has plenty of good brass but, I have to process it at! :o

I have collected and shot brass that I knew was more than once fired because the primer pockets had already been reamed. Just be careful.
